Red Deer

Of European origin, this large deer has red tones in the summer with a large, rusty colored rump patch. Males carry heavy antlers with with brow tines directly above the burr that grow to circle in at the top.Range from 5-6 points on a side to up to 20. Shed velvet from July-August through September-October.
